A group looking to bridge high speed internet gaps in Eastern Ontario will be expanding.
The Eastern Ontario Regional Network will be creating a for-profit arm.
In a recent county council meeting, Warden Brent Devolin mentioned E.O.R.N’s expertise is in demand all over the province and country.
Devolin said that with a for-profit arm, E.O.R.N. will be able to fund future projects like the mobile data analysis.

E.O.R.N. was created by the Eastern Ontario Warden’s Caucus, which Devolin sits on.
Highlands East Reeve Dave Burton is on the E.O.R.N. board.
