A 62 year old Prince Albert man is facing three charges after being pulled over in Haliburton Village.

The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. was using their automatic license plate recognition cruiser on Highland Street June 30th.

Police stopped the vehicle and determined the driver’s license was suspended.

A further investigation found a small amount of suspected marijuana in the vehicle.

The suspect was charged with, driving with a suspended license, failing to surrender a permit for a motor vehicle, and possession of cannabis under 30 grams.

The suspect will be in court in Minden August 2.
