M.P.P. Laurie Scott encourages people to have their say on rules for marijuana legalization

The province wants your input on marijuana legalization.

Ottawa plans to legalize pot by Canada Day of next year and are leaving decisions like the legal age of use to provinces and territories.

Ontario’s Attorney General wants to get feedback so they can shape policy in the legislature.

Haliburton-Kawartha Lakes-Brock M.P.P. Laurie Scott says the O.P.P. has some serious concerns.

Scott also says people in the county are worried that under the federal proposal, a 12-year-old can legally carry marijuana.

The A.G. has an online form you can fill out that will be open until July 31.
