It’s back to the drawing board for the Kawartha Lakes-Haliburton Housing Corporation.
K.L.H wants to build 12 new affordable housing townhome style units by Whispering Pines of County Road 21.
The Housing Corporation asked Dysart’s Committee of Adjustment for an exemption allowing them to have one parking spot per unit.
Dysart’s official plan calls for 1.5 parking spots.

Housing Corporation C.E.O Hope Lee says the committee wants to see a revised plan.
Lee says there are challenges in adding more parking to the site.
Lee adds the K.L.H. Housing Corporation will be at the next committee meeting on August 9 to show their revised site plan.
