H.H.H.S. receives nearly $300,000 in provincial funding

Haliburton Highlands Health Service is getting $293,500  from the Ministry of Health.

The money comes from Ontario’s Health Infrastructure Renewal fund.

In a media release, H.H.H.S. President and C.E.O. Carolyn Plummer says this is the second consecutive year the organization has successfully applied for funding from the health ministry.

The release says the money will help with roof repairs at the Haliburton hospital and a new nurse call-bell system at both the Minden and Haliburton hospitals.

Access will also be improved at their community support services office as well.
