Canadian Blood Services is having a donor clinic in the Village of Haliburton next week.
It will be on Monday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Haliburton Legion.
According to Blood Services, someone with leukemia can need as many as eight pints of blood a week.
Car crash victims could require as many as 50 donors to survive.
