Four new creations to be added to Haliburton Sculpture Forest on Tuesday

The Haliburton Sculpture Forest will be welcoming four new creations Tuesday afternoon.

Artists John McKinnon, Mary-Ellen Farrow, Carole Turner, and Jiri Genzer spent most of June working on their creations in Haliburton.

Farrow, who created one of the first sculptures for the forest in 2001, will be at the unveiling.

The theme of their work is “Carved on the Canadian Shield” and is meant to celebrate the 150 birthdays of Canada, Ontario, and Dysart.

The new sculptures will bring the total count to 35.
