A race that raises money for affordable housing in the county is just around the corner.
The Highland Yard race will be in Minden Hills next Sunday.
The race raises money for Places for People, a non-profit organization aimed at giving affordable housing to tenants in danger of being homeless in the county.
There are races of two, five, and 10 kilometres for people to sign up for.

Last year, the race raised approximately $20,000 for Places for People.
