The Municipality of Highlands East is being represented in Ottawa this week.
Reeve Dave Burton is attending the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s annual conference.
The conference is a chance for politicians from over 400 municipalities to meet face-to-face with provincial ministers.
Burton says he will be bringing up a couple of concerns Highlands East has.

Burton is on the board for the Eastern Ontario Regional Network, which is working to close mobile data gaps in the county.
E.O.R.N. submitted a proposal to both upper levels of government in June and hopes to learn this year if its project will be approved.
