Haliburton County Warden Brent Devolin will be busy in the nation’s capital.
Devolin is one of several county wardens in Ottawa for the Association of Municipalities of Ontario’s annual conference.
He says flood management will be a hot topic among politicians at A.M.O.
The conference is an opportunity for municipal politicians to get face-to-face time with provincial cabinet ministers.

Devolin says another benefit of A.M.O. is for elected officials and staff to get up to speed on pending legislative changes.
Devolin says he will get an opportunity to learn more about potential changes to Ontario’s Municipal Act.
