The Haliburton School of Art and Design has more money available for student bursaries.
According to Fleming College Executive Director of Marketing and Advancement Drew Van Parys, the school raised approximately $23,000 through its annual art auction.
Van Parys says this is the most the school made in the auction’s 50 year history.
150 works of art were auctioned off on August 10.

The bursary program is in place to help students with financial challenges attend the school.
The art school is affiliated with Fleming College.
