Algonquin Highlands Mayor Carol Moffatt is scratching her head.
Moffatt says all provincial party leaders are against a one per cent increase to the H.S.T. to help municipalities tackle a near $5 billion infrastructure deficit.
Moffatt says no solutions were put forward by the province over how to address the infrastructure shortcoming.
She adds municipalities only get a small portion of tax dollars despite owning three quarters of the roads and bridges.
Moffatt and other municipal politicians were at a conference this week in Ottawa with provincial ministers.
