A race involving land, mountains and water is coming to Haliburton Village next year.
Dysart et al council approved the race organizer’s request at its recent meeting.
Storm the Trent has been hosting races all over Eastern Ontario for 16 years.
Storm Racing Owner Sean Roper says Haliburton has the ideal landscape for a challenging race.

The race involves running on land, hiking and biking through hills, and paddling on Head Lake Park.
The race route still needs to be fully planned.
Reeve Murray Fearrey says this will be a great event for Haliburton.
Storm the Trent will be next May.
