Haliburton will be getting national attention this fall thanks to Canada’s game.
Rogers announced that Hometown Hockey will be in the Haliburton Highlands the weekend of October 14th and 15th.
There will be a family friendly hockey festival on both days.
Fans can take in an outdoor viewing party of the N.H.L. game on the Sunday on Sportsnet with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone broadcasting live.

The game will feature the league’s newest team, the Vegas Golden Knights, host the Boston Bruins.
Hometown Hockey will include a feature on Colorado centre, and Haliburton’s own Matt Duchene.
