Photo: Supplied by Kenny Trenton/93.5 Moose FM /Vista RadioHead Lake Park could be the site for a national hockey telecast on October 15th.That’s when Rogers Hometown Hockey comes to the Haliburton Highlands for its second show of the season.Haliburton County Tourism Director Amanda Virtanen says the site of the broadcast hasn’t been confirmed yet but has a feeling Head Lake Park will be the backdrop.Virtanen says there will be plenty of activities for children of all ages. //www.myhaliburtonnow.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/08/Amanda-1.mp3Virtanen expects most of the events to be centred in the Village of Haliburton, but some municipalities may have their own events leading up to the weekend.Hometown Hockey takes over the county on October 14th and 15th.Ron MacLean and Tara Slone will be broadcasting live on the 15th as the Boston Bruins host the Vegas Golden Knights.
