Laurie Scott Laurie Scott will be asking questions of the government regarding the proposed minimum wage increase. The Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Brock M.P.P. will be joining her colleagues in Queen’s Park on September 11th. Scott says she supports increasing the minimum wage, but going from $11.40 an hour to #15 dollars an hour by 2019 is too much for small businesses to digest.
