Scott wants to see rural communities get a portion of the gas tax

The M.P.P. for Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Brock believes rural Ontario is being left behind.

Laurie Scott says the investments the government makes in roads and bridges is a fraction of what larger cities get.

Scott says the province’s distribution of infrastructure dollars is unfair.

Scott also says the opposition has tried to get the liberals to spend more on upgrading rural Ontario’s roads and bridges.

Scott will be back in Queen’s Park for the fall session on Monday.
