An annual fall tradition takes over Haliburton County starting next Thursday.

Hike Haliburton is back for its 15th year with over 80 different wilderness tours.

Haliburton County Tourism Director Amanda Virtanen says she expects over 2,000 hikers will participate.

Virtanen adds there are hiking tours all over the county.

She adds there will even be hikes for foodies.

There will be a picnic at Head Lake Park from noon until 3:00 p.m. as part of the festival’s closing ceremonies.

You can take part in most hikes for free.
