The playground at Rotary Park in Minden Hills will be taken down.
According to a report presented to Minden’s Committee of the Whole, the playground was damaged due to the flooding in May.
Reeve Brent Devolin says the township plans to replace the structure.
Rotary Park is next to the Gull River and usually gets wet from the spring runoff.

However, Devolin also says the floods of 2013 and May is why the township is looking for a new structure.
Community Services Director Mark Coleman says the playground will be taken down in the next week or two.
