The Algonquin Park Forest Management Plan is under a five year review. Local Citizens Committee member Tom Ballantine says they continue to follow best practices outlined by the MNR. Because of this, he says Algonquin Park is on the leading edge of forestry in Canada.
Ballantine says they’re always looking for feedback from the public and are constantly updating the plan. The plan is scheduled to be completed within the next five years.
