The ice will be ready at the Haliburton Curling Club this weekend.
The club is preparing for the 2017-2018 season and will be offering a clinic for people who want to try the sport.
The clinic will be from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the club on Saturday.
There will also be a stick clinic on Sunday from noon to 2:0 p.m. so participants can learn how to throw a rock with a stick.

The cost of the clinic is $10 and includes lunch and the use of equipment.
