The Central Food Network in Highlands East has some new inventory for its food banks.
The network held a lunch last week in which people were able to enjoy a meal, courtesy of the Highlands East Community Cooks.
Food Network Board Member Joan Barton says some money was raised as well.
Barton adds this time of year is usually slow for the food banks in terms of donations.
The Central Food Network operates the food banks in Cardiff and Wilberforce.
