An annual fall tradition takes over the Village of Haliburton on Saturday.
It starts at 11:00 a.m. with a pumpkin carving contest, which is for anyone five-years-old and up.
Other activities include a scarecrow building contest as well as boat rides and plenty of events for children.
There will also be vendors as well as performers.

The event is being put on by Dysart et al and the Haliburton Business Improvement Association.
It will be at Head Lake Park and it runs until 3:00 p.m.
