Haliburton Highlands Heath Services is welcoming a new Chief Nurse Executive into the fold.
Laura Green comes to H.H.H.S. after working at clinics and hospitals in the Sudbury area.
Health Services President and C.E.O Carolyn Plummer says Green’s experience will be key in helping Haliburton develop as a rural heath hub.
Plummer says Green’s experience at the Espanola Hospital will be very helpful to H.H.H.S.

Green will also manage clinical operations, which oversees the hospital, emergency department, ambulatory services and long-term-care.
Green’s first full-time day on the job is today.
