A musician from Haliburton County will be back at a music festival in the nation’s capital.
Cassidy Glecoff and her band, Northbourne are going to Bluesfest in Ottawa next year.
At this year’s Bluesfest, Glecoff won a competition featuring female Canadian musicians between the ages of 13 and 21 to earn a record deal.
The 17-year-old Glecoff says she is hard at work with the Kadence Music Group in Toronto.

Glecoff says she is experiencing a lot of emotions over her recent success.
Glecoff and Northborne will be performing on October 15th as part of the Hometown Hockey festivities in Head Lake Park.
No dates have been confirmed for Bluesfest next year, but the festival usually takes place in July.
