A 19-year-old man has a court date in November after being charged with impaired driving.
The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. got a traffic complaint on Saturday evening just before 7:00 p.m. on Dorset Scenic Tower Road.
Just after that, the O.P.P. found the driver going south on Highway 35.
After chatting with him, officers determined he had been drinking, and he failed a roadside test.
He is charged with impaired driving, and driving over the legal limit.
