Three Haliburton County Paramedics win Exemplary Service Medals

Haliburton County is applauding three award winning paramedics.

Bradley Robinson, Dwight Thomas, and the late Gordon Riddle won Exemplary Service Medals, which were presented in Ottawa by Lieutenant General Richard Rohmer.

To qualify for the medal, a paramedic must have at least 20 years of service.

County Chief of Paramedic Services Tim Waite says much more goes into deciding who deserves a medal.

Riddle passed away last year.
