It’s never too early to think about Canada Day.
That’s the position Highlands East is taking as it prepares for July 1st of 2018.
Committee Coordinator Joanne Vanier says the municipality plans to apply for funding towards next Canada Day festivities.
Vanier says Highlands East has received funding in the past for our nation’s birthday.

No information regarding funding for next year is available yet.
According to the federal Heritage Ministry, details on the 2018 funding cycle will be available in November.
