Colourful views available in Algonquin Highlands

There are some great opportunities to see the fall colours in Algonquin Highlands.

That’s according to Travel Ontario, which says in a recent fall colour report 80 per cent of the leaves in the area have changed colours.

According to the report from the province’s tourism body, the best places to see the fall colours are from the Dorset Fire Tower, Buttermilk Falls, the Leslie Frost Centre, Marsh’s Falls on the Oxtongue River, and anywhere around Carnarvon .

The report says the dominant colours are red, yellow and green.
