Local PC candidate for MPP Laurie Scott says she is focusing on creating a small business climate in Haliburton County. She says business and home owners have been facing challenges for ten years and she can sense a motivation to change provincial government.
Scott says this election is nastier at the provincial level than previous elections which she thinks has trickled down to the local level. Scott is facing Liberal candidate Rick Johnson and NDP candidate Don Abel in Thursday’s election.
