Construction is underway for a new skateboard park in Haliburton Village.
Junction Skate Park will be a concrete structure replacing the wooden facility by the Maple Bridge.
Dysart et al Recreation Coordinator Andrea Mueller says she hopes construction on the new skate park will be done by the end of the year.
Mueller adds the Junction Skate Park Fundraising Committee has raised close to $170,000 towards the project.

She also says more donations will help make the park even better.
Junction Skate Park will be just west of the arena.
