A suspect that was on the loose is now in custody.
The Haliburton Highlands O.P.P. arrested a 27-year-old man without incident this afternoon just before 4:30 in Dysart et al.
The man was originally pulled over Tuesday afternoon on South Lake Road in Minden Hills during a heck stop.
Officers tried to arrest him then on an outstanding criminal matter, and he allegedly assaulted the officer before running away.

He is charged with resisting a peace officer, possession of less than 30 grams of marijuana, and five counts of breaching probation.
He has a bail on Friday in Lindsay.
