Cleaning the water tower in Minden Hills will cost $16,831.35.
Council decided that washing the seven year old tower is long overdue.
Reeve Brent Devolin says the township had to try three times to find a company to do the work.
The cleaning comes in at $111.36 over budget but Devolin said that is very manageable.
