Minden Hills has more clarity in its vision for a mandatory septic inspection program.
Council decided to go with the most thorough program and Mayor Brent Devolin explains what a type four inspection is.
Before figuring out costs and implementation of the program, Devolin says council still has a lot of questions it needs answered.
According to the report shown in council, the program could cost anywhere between $1 million to $5 million.
Devolin added whether the township or property owners pay for the inspection and pumping hasn’t been decided yet.
