H.H.H.S. learned valuable lessons from last week’s phone service disruption

Haliburton Highlands Health Services is looking to upgrade its telecommunications.

Last week’s phone and internet disruption affected the hospital in Haliburton.

H.H.H.S. President and C.E.O. Carolyn Plummer says staff were able to come up with a solution.

Plummer also says the situation last week’s service interruption was an eye opener to have contingencies in place in case phone lines go down in the future.

Plummer gave the update at yesterday’s H.H.H.S. board meeting.
