Minden Hills wants to thanks its volunteers with a meal.
The township will be hosting its annual Christmas/Volunteer Appreciation Dinner on December 8th.
The budget for the evening is $6,000 and the number is based on approximately 135 guests.
Mayor Brent Devolin says the township has many volunteers to thank who lent a hand to neighbours during May’s flood.

Devolin also mentioned an invitation to the dinner would be extended to those who helped out with the Communities in Bloom initiative and the Doors Open event in September.
The dinner will be at the S.G. Nesbitt Community Centre.
