Almost 2,400 less people came to the Dorset Tower to see the fall colours this year.
That’s according to a report shown to Algonquin Highlands council which indicated just over 2,700 visitors came to the tower this year, compared to nearly 5,100 last year.
According to the report, the amount of visitors was up the weekend before Thanksgiving, but a rainy thanksgiving weekend caused attendance to drop significantly.
The drop in admission revenue to the tower from last year to this year was over $8,000.
