Minden Hills will be hosting three snowmobile races this winter.
Council gave its blessing to the Minden Kinsmen Club to build and maintain a snowmobile race track.
The track would be on the lower level of the fairgrounds and used for Ontario Snowmobile Oval Racer events.
Kinsmen Club President Andy Rickard says the club would be responsible for costs and maintenance of the track.

Rickard says last year’s race was well attended.
Rickard added the Kinsmen Club will be hiring someone part-time to maintain the track over the winter.
There will be no cost to Minden taxpayers.
