Haliburton County will be looking for more data on speeds vehicles travel at on its roads.
The County’s Roads Committee is considering putting up signs that would track what speeds people drive at.
Warden Brent Devolin says that kind of information will be helpful when council has to decide on speed limits.
Councilor Murray Fearrey says in some cases, speed limits could rise.

Fearrey was referring to Kashagawigamog Road.
Some signs have bright lights that will flash if you are over the speed limit.
Council is looking for more financial information before making a decision.
