Dysart et al could be one step closer to seeing more affordable housing on Monday.
That’s when council meets and it will be voting on a site plan amendment put forward by the Kawartha Lakes, Haliburton Housing Corporation.
The site plan calls for three townhomes to be built by Whispering Pines off County Road 21 that would accommodate 12 families.
K.L.H. was looking for an agreement earlier this year but Dysart wanted to see more parking spaces, as well as having those spaces closer to the property.
Municipal staff is recommending that council accept the plan.
Council meets tomorrow morning at 9:00.
