It’s back to work tomorrow for Ontario’s college faculty.

After a special weekend sitting legislation passed yesterday forcing the end to the college strike.

Students will be back in class on Tuesday at the Haliburton School of Art and Design but will have to cut their Holiday break short.

The fall semester at the Haliburton campus will go until December 22nd, and then resume on January 2nd.

The winter semester will begin on January 15th.

The province says students facing financial pressure because of the longer semester will be able to apply for assistance.

The colleges and the union representing faculty failed to reach an agreement and teachers voted overwhelmingly late last week to reject an offer, forcing the government to step in.
