News High Speed Satellite Demo Station coming to Dorset SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Friday, Jun. 20th, 2014 It looks like Dorset could be getting a High Speed Satellite Demo Station. The Eastern Ontario Regional Network (EORN) has recently completed their work to bring high speed internet to Haliburton County. At an EORN presentation to county council last month, Algonquin Highlands Reeve Carol Moffat and Deputy-Reeve Liz Danielson were worried their residents would not be aware that high speed was available through satellite. Representatives paid a visit to Algonquin Highlands Council on June 19 to discuss opening a demo station in Dorset. The station would be managed by Xplornet to show people how they can access their high speed. The demo station will be held at the Dorset Library.
