Junction Skate Park construction takes a winter break

Thanks to the snow, construction of Junction Skate Park has been put on hold.

Dysart et al Recreation Program Coordinator Andrea Mueller says construction of the concrete skate board park is 68 per cent done.

Mueller says approximately two weeks worth of work is left on the structure, which will be next to the A.J. Larue Arena.

The Skate Park Fundraising Committee has raised $170,000 but still needs another $40,000.

The new park will replace the current park, which is by the Maple Avenue bridge.
