Police are reminding you to clear your car before hitting the road in the county.

O.P.P. officials say the snowfall on Monday is a good reminder to clear all your windows and the top of your vehicle of snow.

Constable Samantha Bigley says this safety measure doesn’t just protect you, but the drivers around you as well.

Bigley says choosing to ignore the snow on your car can turn into a $110 fine if you’re caught by police.

She says drivers need to remember to turn on their headlights during heavy snowfalls as well so you can be spotted easier while on the highway.
