The OPP is bringing in the Ministry of Labour in a worksite injury investigation in Haliburton.
Haliburton Highlands OPP was called to the construction site at the Minden Fire Hall yesterday after two men were seriously injured when the roof collapsed. A 29-year-old man from Bracebridge and a 33-year-old man from Burlington were both taken to hospital. One of the men was then airlifted to a Toronto-area hospital, but officials have not specified which of the men it was.
The Ministry of Labour has taken over the investigation.
