A new warden has been chosen to lead Haliburton County in 2018.
Highlands East Deputy Mayor Suzanne Partridge was the only candidate to put her name forward.
Partridge will be sworn in as warden on December 12th in county council chambers and then there will be a vote the following day among county councilors to select a deputy warden.
County council consists of the four mayors and deputy mayors of Haliburton’s municipalities and townships.
This will be Partridge’s first term as warden taking over for incumbent Brent Devolin.
