Don’t be alarmed if you see many people in Head Lake Park with weird sweaters on Sunday.
The Haliburton Highlands Museum is having its fifth annual Ugly Christmas Sweater Walk/Run.
You can walk, or run, and the event starts at 11:00 a.m. but you can head to the museum an hour early to decorate your sweater.
Haliburton County schools are also asking for cash donations for their Elf Drive, which supports families in need over the Christmas season.
The walk and run should be done by noon, and people are invited to hang out at the museum for refreshments.
