Minden Hills held a council meeting without CAO Nancy Wright-Laking today, a little earlier than expected. After submitting her resignation a week ago, Wright-Laking’s last day was set for July 25, but she left the office yesterday without intending to come back.
Reeve Barb Reid says Wright-Laking had some extra vacation time she decided to take now.
Reid also says that in Wright-Laking’s resignation letter, the lack of support from the majority of council was one of the reasons behind her resignation.
