It’s another extremely cold day in Haliburton.
Environment Canada warns the temperature isn’t going to get much warmer today with the high sitting around minus 20 and the wind chill pushing that down to minus 40. This trend of cold weather will continue into the New Year. By January 2nd, meteorologists predict the high could get up to about minus 10.
Officials suggest staying inside to avoid the risk of frostbite and hypothermia.
