Haliburton Highlands Health Services is launching a program this month.
The Grief Support Group is here to help county residents who are coping with the death of someone close to them.
The group’s primary goal is to help people live their lives while honouring their past.
Another key service the group offers is helping people with home security checks, and managing your budget if you never had to focus on one.
The group sessions are meant to provide companionship to people facing a similar struggle.
The group sessions will be on the second Wednesday of every month at the H.H.H.S. location in Haliburton, and on the first Wednesday of each month at the Minden Hills building.
No specific numbers are available but H.H.H.S. says the program is growing.
The program is free.
